GB0SRW SOS Radio Week Station
We will be operating GB0SRW from 21st to 29th January 2012 for this event. We will be trying to raise money for the RNLI. Don't worry we won't be asking you for any money over the air!

gB4CON (Bacon!!!)
Unfortunately due to the cancellation of this event in 2011 we were unable to operate at this event. Date of Festival at the Farm in 2012 is 1st July. We have been invited to operate again at Farmer Copley's. Looking foreward to the bacon butties, etc in the "Moo Cafe".

WAB Top Band Contest 28th January 1700-2300 using club's callsign G3FYQ
We may also operate in the WAB LF Contest on 13th May from 1000-1400, with callsing G3FYQ/p or GB1AVR (AckworthVintage Rally)
There are at least two Steam Rallies in Ackworth, 12-13 May and 21-22 July. We will be operating in the Watertower field between Pontefract and Ackworth (competing with fairground organs!) as GB1AVR
We will put on GB0PH (Pontefract Heritage)from a site in the town
GB0PAS (Pontefract Astronomical Society) will be on the air end February to 10th March to mark the visit of Apollo astronaut Walt Cunningham (Apollo V11) to give a talk at Carleton Community High School. Tickets £30 from Ken Willoughby, details on the Web
GB0PLF Pontefract Liquorice Festival will be on the air for 2-3 weeks from the Club HQ, and then on the day we will be operating (probably 2 metres only) from Pontefract Town Centre.
